Munsey'sMobile has almost 1000 free classic works in their biography category. These are all available for free viewing online and are also available for download in PDF, PRC and ePUB. These appear to be different works than those available on the regular Munsey's site, above.
Nobooko has over 186 free ebooks in its Biography & Memoir genre listing. Most link to Kobo and are available for free download in EPUB after free registration (no credit card needed) at Kobo. Since Kobo does not offer genre listings for its free ebooks, this is an excellent resource. There are some Smashwords links in the results also.

There is a large selection of sub-genre. A very nice collection with some unique entries.
Project Gutenberg Australia has a very nice listing of autobiographies available for download in a large number of formats. Many of these link back to Gutenberg (above), but are listed in alphabetical order of the subject of the biography as opposed to the author. Some of the entries are not available at Gutenberg.

The Andrew Fuller Center has links to biographies of the influential Baptist. All the links I looked at were in Google Books and were available for free reading online without registration.
The Book Depository has over 1,000 free ebooks in its Biography category available for free download in PDF without registration. You will see prices listed for each of the books, but that is for hard copy. Look for the green Get Free eBook to click on and then the green Download Free eBook PDF on the book listing page.
The NTS Library has a good number of free biographies of famous Christians available for free download in PDF without registration.

WHSmith a UK site that teams with Kobo to offer ebooks. This link is to their collection of free ebooks in their Biography and True Story collection. All are available for free download in EPUB after registration.
WikiSource has a good size collection in its biography genre available for free reading online. These all appear to be from the late 19th century and early 20th century. Similar works are listed in the Autobiography section.
Since my wife died unexpectedly last month, I've checked on places where online tributes can be kept.
There is also Legacy.com which is included free with the placing of an obituary in some papers. Legacy.com will also do a permanent listing for a small fee but it is quite reasonable considering it will be permanent. I believe they're based in the USA.
For Aussies (my wife was Australian), there are options to do free tributes via the Sydney Morning Herald website.
